"We accept the fact that the $130 billion wasted on the war could have been invested in developing alternative energy and fuel resources, making US independent from foreign oil, and ending any further waste of lives in future oil wars."

“CHOICES – Your future, your life, is about your choices”

We are going to make a choice in November and we will decide which of the two candidates and political parties will be in charge for the next four years. There is one certainty, whoever is elected, will owe their political life to at least one powerful corporation, business of group of people. A few large and powerful corporations run the U.S., and WE voted them into their position of power.

Do we need to raise our expectations of elected politicians and their appointed bureaucrats? Or, do we just accept that they can be self-serving and at times “somewhat” dishonest. We know that many industries are exporting jobs to third world countries, to save money and increase profits. We also know that their products and services have not decreased in cost, because of their savings. Do we need to stop supporting those businesses that are exporting our jobs, by “not” buying their products and services? Our health care system is large, expensive, frustrating, not responsive to its clients and not effective in many ways. We accept the fact that our health care system is driven by massive amounts of money. We accept that 4% of all school aged children are being prescribed drugs, about 50 million people are being prescribed drugs to manage their anxiety, depression, anger, frustration, etc. and that about every 30 seconds someone suffers a serious cardiovascular incident.

Do we need to start supporting alternative health care practices? We accept the fact that the US is dependent on foreign oil and that our good people are dying to ensure our supply of “foreign” oil. We accept the fact that the $130 billion wasted on the war could have been invested in developing alternative energy and fuel resources, making US independent from foreign oil, and ending any further waste of lives in future oil wars. Part of that money could have been spent on needed domestic programs to improve our lives. Do we need to actively start supporting alternative fuel and energy resources?

The answer to all of the questions is “YES.” You need to start using your economic vote. Each time you purchase a product or service from one of the large monopolistic corporations, your are giving them the money to purchase more power over you. Alternative competition gives US choices and makes U.S. strong. Alternative competition resources may exist now; however, they exist in such a subservient way that they do not offer any real competition to the existing power structures. We need to create, re-create and support alternative competition resources.

My area of expertise is Health Self-Empowerment and I know that we can become much more independent from our health care system, now. Suggested reading: “Lipitor: Thief of Memory, Statin Drugs and the Misguided war on Cholesterol” and “Health, Greed, Power” and “Racketeering in Medicine” – found at Amazon and downloadpress.com. These three books can effect the lives of more than 100 million people in a positive way. What is your area of knowledge? We need to start making empowering choices, NOW.
